Demi Chef de Partie - New Restaurant, Oxford
We are looking for ambitious, skilled demi chefs to join our brand new kitchen team, to operate this exciting new venture opening in Oxford.
As Demi Chef de Partie you will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of our new restaurant product in a 6 day (closed Monday's) lunch and dinner operation with an 80 seat inside restaurant and a 60 cover outside summer terrace serving modern British and European dishes. An all day menu will be made up of regional European inspired dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
In addition we aim to establish the venue as Oxfords leading events space, catering for weddings and corporate events as well as the museums own prestigious gallery openings and high profile events.
The role of Demi Chef de Partie would suit an individual who is creative and ambitious with a passion for food, a flair for presentation and a hunger to make the new restaurant an amazing dining experience.
As Demi Chef de Partie you should have strong experience in a similar environment. You will need to be passionate, creative, a keen eye for detail, food quality and standards.
First class knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene regulations is a must.
A high level of spoken English, good communication skills and immaculate presentation are essential.
A valid EU work permit or passport is vital and must be produced during the preliminary interview and before any position can be offered.
