Dental Hygienist Post in Market Harborough
Medi-Cruit Dentistry Dental Recruitment are sourcing a Qualified Dental Hygienist, Nurse to work in this busy Mixed Dental Practice in Market Harborough
This is post is for a part-time opening for a dental hygienist working 16hours per week.. Successful candidates must possess the Dental Hygiene Diploma / Degree to work as a Hygienist in this country. The successful dental hygienist will be responsible for cleaning and polishing teeth, instructing patients in good oral hygiene habits and after care for dental treatments rendered, and providing other preventative dental care, and work chairside as needed, with the dentist during examinations and treatments.
The dental hygienist may also:
*take X-rays
*make moulds for crowns and dental prosthetics
*remove sutures
*polish fillings and other metal restorations
*take and record medical history and medication lists
The changes in Dental Hygiene Legislation Policy, revised in July 2007 will require the successful Dental Hygienist to be either registered with the General Dental Council or possess equivalent qualifications from another country to acquire GDC registration to work in the post. The practice is supportive of their Clinical team in undertaking additional CPD related activities which are now a requirement by law.

You must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom; thus you must either hold a passport from an EU Country or a valid work permit to work part-time hours in this country.
