Medi-Cruit Dentistry Dental Recruitment are sourcing a Qualified Dental Technician, Nurse to work in this busy Dental Laboratory in Burntwood
This is post is for a full time opening for a dental technician working 40 hours per week.. Successful candidates must have at least six months previous dental technology experience and possess the necessary BTEC Diploma or Degree to work in this country. The successful dental technician will be responsible for;
Making dentures, crowns, bridges and dental braces that improve patients' appearance, speech and their ability to chew. Working to dentists or doctors prescriptions, using a wide range of materials, including gold, porcelain and plastic, to design and construct appliances to meet each patients needs.
You will focus on one of four specialist areas. Prosthodontic technology, designing and making dentures. Conservation technology, specialising in crown and bridge work. Orthodontic technology; make braces to correct tooth positions
The changes in Dental Technician Registration Legislation Policy in July 2007 will require the successful Dental Technician to be either registered with the General Dental Council or possess equivalent qualifications from another country to acquire GDC registration to work in the post. The laboratory is supportive of their Clinical team in undertaking additional CPD related activities which are now a requirement by law.
