ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified is essential. About You A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a demonstrable track record of professional development gained within a commercial environment you will be a proven people manager with the ability to translate finance information effectively across the wider organisation. You will be keen to take ownership of the role and gain a thorough understanding of the business by being visible and supportive whilst proactively implementing change and streamlining processes. About The Role Reporting to the Finance Director with responsibility for a team of 12 you will: * Develop and implement innovative and effective finance strategies, policies and processes which are aligned to changing business needs * Work with budget holders to secure value for money in the procurement of all goods and services and effective and economic stewardship of devolved budgets * Provide and manage a comprehensive finance service including all financial accounting, payroll, credit control, management accounting, audit and taxation services in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice * Direct and lead the finance department to deliver a highly respected service * Participate in the strategic management of the business as a member of the Management Team About Our Client A stable and interesting organisation with exciting plans for growth and development.
