One of the Middle East's leading construction and engineering companies are looking for a Deputy General Manager for their Steel Fabrication Division.
Reporting directly into the General Manager of this division the selected candidate will be responsible for:
1. BSc degree in civil / structural engineering from a reputable university.
2. Professionally qualified civil / structural engineer (i.e. MICE, MIStructE and Chartered Engineer from United Kingdom / Australia).
3. Holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a reputable university.
4. Able to communicate in good written and spoken English.
5. Have worked in both structural design consultant firms and contractor firms.
6. Have strong business acumen.
7. Have strong commercial / contractual skills.
8. Demonstrated leadership in a multi-cultural work organization.
9. Able to make difficult decision.
10. Strong execution power.
11. Full of work energy and able to energize staff to achieve targets.
12. Have passion for the success of the company.
13. Financial management skills.
14. Sales and marketing skills.
The role will be initially based in the Dubai office but will be assisiting the General manager in setting up operations in Abu Dhabi and eventually managing the office and project team from Abu Dhabi
