We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager/ Matron (RGN/RMN) for our 86 bedded West Abbey Care Home in Yeovil. This home provides first-class 24-hour nursing and residential care, alongside specialist care for people with dementia in their Memory Lane Community . They also have a facility for younger people who are physically disabled.
The Deputy Manager will assist our Home Manager in the planning, directing and delivery of high quality person centred care. Ensuring the quality of service meets the national minimum standards, CQC standards, as well as following Barchester's internal policies and procedures. In addition to this you will be required to undertake staff reviews, team meetings, and you will need to deputise in the absence of the Care Home Manager.
