You must have a minimum of NVQ3 in Early Years or equivalent, although Early Years Professional Status is preferred. You should have previous experience of supervising staff, ability to demonstrate leadership skills, vision, a sound knowledge of early years child care, great communication skills, and experience of working with parents.
