Design Engineer required for key client in Cambridge - C, linux, WinCE, Symbian, MPEG, embedded realtime, driver, video
Design Engineer now needed in Cambridge to work as part of a small dynamic team responsible for developing driver software for next generation video hardware.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with design and implementation of video drivers for existing and future hardware
Assisting with design and implementation of O/S abstraction software on numerous platforms
Suitable applicants will have:
3 yrs plus C programming experience
Experience and understanding of varying system architectures and embedded real-time operating systems
Experience on one or more of the following operating systems: Linux, WinCE, Symbian, Vista at the driver level
an understanding of video compression standards: MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS and Real.
Familiar with Linux, Windows, WinCE and Symbian
