Desktop Support / Windows Systems Administrator - London - Outstanding opportunity to join a leading charitable organization based in the London area with a very wide technical remit and the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies. Your core responsibilities will be to manage the desktip environment and provide support to a large user base locally and remotely. You will need to have very strong Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional and Windows Vista skills and be confident in completing all user administration functions on Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory. Mailbox administration skills on Exchange Server 2003 will also be required and you should be very comfortable dealing with user issues arising with the Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
My client is ideally looking for someone with Microsoft accreditations (MCSA or MCSE preferred), but experience will weigh more heavily in your favour than certificates and training. It is also expected that you will have experience of supporting all peripherals associated with the IT environment and it would be highly advantageous if you had experience of supporting AV and Telecommunications equipment too.
