DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY AND SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a Development Strategy and Software Engineer to be responsible for the development of strategies, functions and software for emissions reduction.
You role will involve the implementation of your ideas in a model-based development environment, as well as the development of simulation models. You will also be responsible for validation for the real world on test rigs and in vehicles, and the elaboration and development up to series production readiness.
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering, or in physics, with expert know-how in Matlab/Simulink, especially in numerical methods. Knowledge of EAS systems, especially SCR, would be advantageous but not essential, as would experience in programming. You will also be knowledgeable in controls.
You will have an knowledge of and enthusiasm for combustion engines and exhaust after-treatment, as well as their control systems, and an interest in international collaboration in this area. Good communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a team, and you must be ready and willing to learn German.
