An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Team Leader / Manager with hands on development skills in Microsoft SQL. Working as a member of the Corporate Reporting Team, you will manage one member of staff and be heavily involved in the implementation, integration and management of corporate IT systems covering a range of 'off the shelf' and bespoke applications. Within this role, you will lead the development of interfaces between all research and Knowledge Transfer systems. Technically, you will be skilled with querying Microsoft SQL using Transact SQL and Enterprise Manager along with SQL Server MAnagement studio development. Any exposure to VBA, Excel, Access and / or BI tools would be of specific interest as would experience of working with Financial systems. The successful candidate will be able to deliver clearly defined project goals and milestones within agreed timescales. This is initially a 12 month fixed term position.
