The Development Technician will be involved in testing prototype of switch mode power supplies (SMPS) to product specification. The successful applicant will have a good hands on practical skills on SMPS's and Test Benches, knowledge of SMT Technology, knowledge of SMPS topologies will be beneficial
The Development Technician will be involved in testing prototype of switch mode power supplies (SMPS) to product specification, this role will also involve faultfinding, evaluation/test, Wiring, Documentation, PCB Design and some Design. Other tasks will include supporting the Team Leader/Project Manager, validating designs and supporting the overseas manufacture.
The successful applicant will have a good hands on practical skills on SMPS's and Test Benches, knowledge of SMT Technology, knowledge of SMPS topologies will be beneficial. Other skills of interest include: Analogue Design, PCB Design and EMC knowledge.
