Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer - Germany. Skills sought include commercial DSP design of algorithms for the wireless communications sector, UMTS, LTE, GSM, Matlab/Simulink for signal processing algorithm simulation, digital pre-distortion algorithms, etc
Digital Signal Processing Engineer vacancy with my client, an innovative radio frequency technology developer, producing products that enable optimised on-site solutions for mobile wireless infrastructure.
Candidates will be experienced DSP Engineers with strong fundamentals in the design of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms/concepts. Other skills my client will look for in the successful DSP candidate will include:
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink for signal processing algorithm simulation
- Experience in the simulation of communication systems
- Good knowledge on mobile communication standards (e.g. UMTS, LTE, GSM)
- Experience with digital pre-distortion algorithms for the RF front end
- Experience with model based design (System Generator/Simplify DSP)
- Experience in fixed point arithmetic
The role will entail designing and developing DSP Algorithms from first principles, Algorithm break down on system level, Test and verification of algorithms using Matlab/Simulink, Algorithm optimization for target hardware (fixed point), and support of algorithm test and integration on the target system
