Direct Marketing Manager
A Direct Marketing Manager is required to
assist the Marketing Manager and be responsible for the management of 2
Executives, helping to develop a direct marketing plan to increase retention,
recommendations and acquisition. You will need to have strong project
management skills, a real understanding of direct marketing principles and be
able to translate CRM strategies into effective campaigns. You will be
required to manage relationships with key partners and customers, have budget
responsibility and will be expected to achieve targets and demonstrate
success against ROI. Together with the Marketing Manager, you’ll be
responsible for all offline marketing activity including Direct Marketing,
PR, Advertising, Events and all brochures and printed communications. Working
closely with the Digital Marketing team, you will ensure consistency of
communication and approach both offline and online.The successful candidate will have 5 years
direct marketing experience with some experience in staff management, have an
exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication
skills combined with a confident and persuasive manner which will mean you
have the ability to communicate with people at all levels.You will have excellent analytical skills,
be proactive and take ownership for your projects and you will have the
ability to multi-task in a pressurised environment. Experience of working in
the travel industry is essential. A marketing qualification and knowledge of
Crystal Reports are preferred but not essential.
