Our prestigious international Charity based in Central London are looking to recruit a Direct Marketing Officer,reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager.The role is to support the Direct Marketing Team in developing Direct Marketing Campaigns and appropriate development strategies to maximise the long-term returns on investments of the charities direct marketing activities.
Your main duties will be
- Collating and researching relevant information from internal and external resources
- Ensuring all relevant information is uploaded onto the database
- Write agency and data briefs
- Briefing all interested parties internal & external
- Day to day project management of various donor development and recruitment campaigns.Working with relevant suppliers this will include briefing internal & external teams
- Helping to manage the website including updating website text and images using their user software(training provided)
The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience in marketing either in the commercial or voluntary sector.Knowledge of direct marketing principles and an understanding of the fundraising sector are essential along with being very passionate about the charity sector.
Applicants should be numerate and have an analytical approach to their work, be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
