- Review monthly preparation of management accounts for submission to management;
- Preparation of interim and annual financial statements;
- Cash management and cashflow forecasting over 1/3/5 year periods;
- Budgeting / Forecasting;
- Assisting in financial due diligence
- Assisting in deal settlements
- Provision of accounting support to the business, including responses to ad hoc requests;
- Co-ordination of Investment entity accountants.
- Ensuring that finance in London complies with best practice in Sydney.
- Supervision of teams in London and off shore:
- Ability to deal with complex multi currency consolidations and acco
- Degree educated, ACA qualified with a number of years of post qualification experience;
- Experience/understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, consolidations and multi currency environments;
- Experience of financial management of a listed entity;
- The individual will have to be technically competent as they will be dealing with complex group structures and accounting issues;
- The role will regularly require the individual to work outside their comfort zone and develop new skills as required;
- Advanced excel skills are required together with a high level of IT literacy. Experience with peoplesoft GL would be advantageous although not essential.
