The MS Society is the UK's leading charity for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Our aim is to beat MS in every way we can, acting as the voice for the 100,000 people with MS in the UK. The Society is seeking an exceptional strategist with strong leadership, development and communication skills to shape the delivery of services in Wales.
The role:
- Leading the Society’s work in Wales, working with branches, members and volunteers, to deliver services for people
- affected by MS, through public policy and campaigning, research, governance, and fundraising and marketing.
- Working closely with the elected Chair and the principal adviser to the MS Cymru Council, its committees and officers.
- Contributing to the leadership, planning and policy formulation across the Society as a whole.
The candidate:
- A strong strategic thinker and persuasive communicator.
- An inspirational leader.
- Impressive track record in operational management.
- Expertise in influencing health and social policy, of developing significant partnerships and managing significant budgets.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of fundraising and marketing, charity governance and regulation.
