Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing the duties associated with the dispensing of compounded and non-compounded products. Furthermore, you will assist in the day-to-day activities of the ‘Dispensing’ function of the Pharmacy Services department and ensure that systems and processes for dispensing are efficient and comply with all associated legal requirements.
The post is working with other Pharmacists of the Pharmacy Services Team in order to provide a professional clinical support service to both external and internal customers.
Candidates will be Registered Pharmacists with dispensing experience in community, hospital or Industry environments. Additional pharmaceutical manufacturing experience would be beneficial. You will also need clear knowledge of the legal requirements for prescription management in accordance with the RPSGB.
You should also be able to think ‘outside of the box’ in developing proactive solutions for resolving issues or for continual improvement, as the nature of our role requires a high degree of flexibility.
