Our client is a leading independent provider of health and social care. Working in close partnership with local authorities, PCTs and SHAs, the company draws on over 25 years of experience to provide tailor-made service solutions, including residential, community, specialist, primary and secondary care.
Our client operates over 50 nursing and residential homes for older people and provides over 120,000 hours of care and support every week to people in their own homes
Our client is looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Manager who has the drive, enthusiasm and commitment to make a real difference to the lives of others. You will lead and motivate a staff team of enablers to think about care and support in an entirely new way to help people in transforming their lives.
You must possess:
* Minimum of 1 years operational experience at a supervisory/management level
* You will have a background showing all round knowledge and 3 - 5 years experience of working with elderly service users in a domiciliary care setting
* You must hold a Registered Manager Award qualification (RMA)
* Working knowledge of the Care Standards Act and National Minimum Standards
* Ability to present self and organisation in a positive honest and respectful way
* Good time management skills
* Ability to delegate appropriately
* Diplomacy
* Demonstrate a strong leadership presence, clear vision, reflecting development needs
* Ability to negotiate and work in partnership with other agencies
