Our client a leading provider of Innovative technology who following some new contract wins urgently seek additional Domino / Web developers to join their team.
The research and development team is a vibrant and exciting place to work, and they are looking for multi-skilled, passionate, and energetic individuals to join their growing team. You need to have a keen interest in the Web 2.0 world, and most importantly, you need to have a passion for writing great software.
Your role would be to provide development and some support to the Professional Services Group for special custom solution projects. You would be responsible for handling the development aspects of the project, working directly with the client, and liaising with the Services Group.
You would also be the first point of contact for escalated support issues, and expected to handle the flow of problem tickets escalated to the development team - investigating and seeking out a resolution where necessary. You would also work on core development projects for our software platform.
Responsibilities will include:
* Full project life cycle development using Lotus Domino, JavaScript , Ajax, CSS, HTML, JavaScript. Any Java experience would be a bonus.
* Design and development of new software release
* Application support and problem resolution, including Client liaison
* Take responsibility for each release and ensure delivery and completion by proposed project end date.
* Development of other projects in other web related technology.
Successful candidates must have some knowledge of Lotus Domino development experience, and ideally have some Lotus Script experience and web skills. Candidates must have a passion for Web 2.0 development and be happy to be part of a small team working on different aspects of their product using a range of different technologies, which could also include LotusScript, CSS & HTML , JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL, Apache and use of Linux / UNIX.
Candidates must have strong communication skills as you will be working and interacting with different parts of the business and clients. Company offer Healthcare, some flexi-time and possibility of some home working when required. Salary offered up to c£42k but maybe able to offer an increase for a very strong candidate with the core skills mentioned above.
