Drug Workers
Description
We are seeking to appoint a substance misuse worker on a fixed term contract to cover staff absence. The appointed person will join the multi-disciplinary team at a local service. You will engage and motivate service users to enter drug treatment programmes and will provide broad-based services including assessment, care planning and group work.
Skills
The successful candidates will have experience of working with substance users at both Tiers 2 and 3 and experience of working in a prison or substance misuse environment. A formal qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
