Brand new position for a Microsoft Dynamics AX Functional Consultant, specialising in the finance modules - it is essential that you have formal finance/accounting qualifications. This is a leading Gold Partner and provider of Microsoft Business Solutions. Recent business wins, ongoing project work within their existing client base and a healthy pipeline of new prospects interested in Dynamics AX, has created a requirement for an additional experienced Dynamics AX consultant. Your primary responsibility will be to perform consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics AX customers in the UK. The focus will be the Dynamics AX Financial modules and related functional areas, such as budgeting, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities:
* Full life cycle implementation of Dynamics AX finance modules
* Client Training
* Testing software modifications
* Providing client support and consultation
* Pre- and post-sales support as needed.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX products - and specific knowledge of the finance modules
* 3-5 years previous implementation experience with ERP systems (Dynamics AX, JDE, Dynamics NAV, Epicor, Movex, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Infor)
* Microsoft Dynamics AX Financials certification highly regarded
* Formal accounting/finance qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar)
* Strong background in ERP concepts especially in financial management
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
* Strong competency in MS Office Suite and other consulting tools
* Familiarity with the key technology components (databases, hardware, object oriented programming, etc.)
