Responsible for the implementation and deployment of B2B solutions, this will involve integration of both internal Companies and external Partners into our clients’ group business systems.You will be part of the Business Systems team, which is responsible for delivering state of the art Business Systems to the worldwide offices. The team has already implemented integration between a numbers of internal Countries systems. In addition limited Vendor and Customer integrations have been completed. This position is to continue the success with the current integration and proceed with more Customers and Vendors.
This role is possible to be based in either the UK (Newmarket, Suffolk) or Germany (Munich); you will be working closely with colleagues all over the world. You will be responsible for making sure the team meets both internalexpectations and the expectations of our clients Customers and Vendors. Therefore, foreign language skills are a bonus, specifically German and English.Your daily role will be to work with colleagues across the group and with Customers and Vendors to integrate and connect their Systems with our clients ERP Systems, using the Connectivity Software MS-BizTalk.
Skills/Experience Required:
EDI experience, ideally MS-BizTalk with several standards like HTML/XML/EDIFACT/iDoc and the ability to research, understand and adopt new Document standards/technologies where required
Very good understanding of general EDI technologies and networking
Advanced coding skills like C#, .NET, VB or similar languages and understanding of development tools like Visual Studio
MS SQL Server and T-SQL skills as well as the understanding of transfer technologies like FTP, Web services, etc.
Complete project cycle experience, from conception through development towards documentation and delivery
Willingness to be very much hands-on
Experience of quality control systems and version management
Awareness of internet security, risks and best practice
