An EIA / Environmental consultant with experience of working on renewable energy environmental assessments, licensing and EMS projects is sought to join a world leading multidisciplinary consultancy.

*Qualification- relevant Degree / MSc, membership of an appropriate professional body, full clean driving licence. Further qualifications desirable.

*Location- Glasgow


*Experience- Previous experience of undertaking EIA and environmental studies in relation to renewable energy developments in a consultancy environment. Experience of preparing reports and demonstrable in depth understanding of relevant issues and legislation. Those with experience of on shore wind and Hydro developments will be at an advantage.

*Salary- Negotiable on skills and experience

Duties Include:
- Undertaking environmental assessments
- Producing high quality written reports
- Preparing technical chapters for EIAs
- Coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments
- Liaising and working within multidisciplinary teams
- Liaising with and providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders
- EMS audits
- Environmental Due Diligence projects
- Environmental permitting and licensing

Typical Projects

Working on major renewable and energy developments across Scotland, including on shore wind, biomass, CHP power stations, pipeline and hydro energy projects, you will coordinate and prepare technical chapters for EIA projects. You will also support the multidisciplinary environmental team in other projects such as Environmental auditing and permitting.
