An EIA consultant with considerable experience of managing high profile, large scale EIA projects and of working on shore renewable energy projects is sought to join this expanding consultancy based in Glasgow.
*Qualification- relevant Degree / MSc, Full membership of an appropriate professional body, full clean driving licence. Further qualifications desirable.
*Location- Glasgow
*Experience- Previous experience of undertaking EIA and environmental studies in relation to renewable energy developments in a consultancy environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent report writing, project management and business development skill sin the EIA/ environmental consultancy field. The ideal candidate will be currently in a similar role.
*Salary- £35,000 plus, commensurate with skills and experience
*Company- Multidisciplinary consultancy
Duties Include:
- Undertaking environmental assessments
- Producing high quality written reports
- preparing technical chapters for EIAs
- Coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments
- Liaising and working within multidisciplinary teams
- Liaising with and providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders
- Staff management and mentoring
- Business development
- Large scale project management
- Leading the EIA discipline across Scotland
Typical Projects
Working on major renewable and energy developments across Scotland, including on shore wind, biomass, CHP power stations, pipeline and grid connection projects, you will coordinate and prepare technical chapters for EIA projects.
