Well established privately owned manufacturing company in the northern suburbs is seeking to appoint an experienced Export Coordinator. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this position will see you coordinating all containerised packing activities across Victoria. Preparing freight for export, you will book containers, schedule pick loads across three manufacturing sites, reconcile interstate loads while liaising with shipping companies, production and distribution staff. In this busy role, you will process all logistics administration regarding the movement of containers (10-15 FCL per day) by using SAP and 1-Stop. You will also replan & reschedule packing activities as determined by available stock from production. Other activities include purchasing of packing consumables, pallet control, reporting and planning to meet deadlines within timeslots.
Your resume will speak for itself. It is essential that you have experience coordinating containerised exports, distribution and warehousing operations. You will be a tenacious and confident individual who enjoys a fast paced environment with a day full of a variety of conflicting priorities. You will be resilient to pressure and want a role that will challenge you, requiring you to think on your feet and problem solve. Candidates with existing knowledge of 1-Stop will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role you will be a team player, display a strong customer focus, a passion for work and a strong quality mindset. Any formal qualifications in a logistics, distribution or operational discipline will be considered favourably.
