Economic Analysis - Business Planning, Oil, Gas: The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate a strong desire to be a proactive member to the strategic planning and performance section with outstanding analytical skills and the ability to make decisions autonomously, particularly in the areas of the portfolio management of opportunity profiles and in reviewing and updating Planning Assumptions, including the consolidation of external markets intelligence data and keeping them updated and translating them into valuable insights. Contributing to benchmarking, performance analysis, continuous improvement and various reporting in the department.
Economic Analysis - Business Planning, Oil, Gas – Key areas:
-Coordinate and prepare global scenarios for strategic planning
-Validate and align the data from the sources within and outside the organisation
-Contribute to the quality and usefullness of reports
-Undertake reviews of the Key Business Drivers and determine their relevance
-Investigate global trends and issues which might need to be considered regarding the economic model.
Economic Analysis - Business Planning, Oil, Gas – Qualifications
-Appropriate degree from a recognized university in Economics or other relevant discipline
-MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree is beneficial
-5-10 years in a multi-functional organisation, ideally Oil and Gas as an economist or in planning.
-Experience in business planning including budgeting, is desirable
-Knowledge and skills to link operational activities to the economical and financial impacts, risk assessment and trends in future performance.
