ELECTRICALLY-BIASED MULTI-SKILLED BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER REQUIRED

This is where my client really stands out in today's market, they are one of the largest facilities management service providers in the country with an ever increasing orderbook building on one of the largest and most diverse portfolios of existing clients.
They are looking for an electrically-biased Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer to further strengthen their highly skilled team. The role itself will see your time split 60/40 between one site and a number of smaller sites in a mobile capacity and your duties will include planned and reactive maintenance of lighting, alarm systems, power supplies, heating systems and air-conditioning systems. In addition to duties on the electrical side of things you may have to carry out minor mechanical repairs such as pump replacements or filter changes as required.
The successful candidate will be a timeserved electrician, with other building maintenance skills (i.e. mechanical or building fabric) being a must. Ideally you will have worked for a facilities management service provider in the past and have experience in maintenance, both planned and reactive. You must be customer service-focused and able to communicate with the client clearly and politely.
