JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is seeking an electrically biased multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a team working on production machinery and facilities in Loughborough. The work is medium-heavy engineering with hydraulic and pneumatic presses and fast wrapping machines.
ELEMENTS:
" Candidates should be skilled maintenance engineers, with competence in mechanical and electrical fields as the work will be 50/50.
" The role will include installation, breakdown and preventative maintenance of 14 large hydraulic and pneumatic presses, hot embossers, cold embossers, rapid winding machines and wrapping machines, water and steam system, lighting and power.
" The factory uses Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley controls, the ability to fault find on PLC's will an advantage.
Qualifications
Apprentice trained or equivalent educational background HNC/HND minimum
16th/17th Edition regs would be an advantage
2391 qualifications
AC/DC Drives experience and PLC fault finding skills desireable
The role is electrically biased and requires electrical qualifications but a lot of work will also be mechanical
