Based in Cambridge, this high technology role will focus on the system design, development and specification of new instrumentation based products. Key skills to include: Digital and Analogue Design, including Low Noise Analogue Design, A/D Converters, Power Supplies, CPLD's/FPGA's, Microcontrollers / Microprocessors and VHDL.

Based in Cambridge, this high technology role will focus on the system design, development and specification of new instrumentation based products. Responsibilities will include: taking responsibility for the detail of the electronics development, the evaluation, the documentation, the archiving and the maintenance in line with established company procedures; keeping abreast of all developments internal, technical, competitive, legislative and market; Providing electronics project plans, costs, risk assessments/mitigations and reports on project electronics progress.

The successful applicant will come from a background in Electronics Design, preferably with in Instrumentation, Sensor Design, Infa-red, Detectors or Actuators. Core design activities will be focused on Digital and Analogue Design, including Low Noise Analogue Design, A/D Converters, Power Supplies, CPLD's/FPGA's, Microcontrollers / Microprocessors and VHDL.
