An experienced graduate ‘Electronics/Software Engineer’ is required to work within a small team of mechanical engineers developing special niche market equipment and machinery. An experienced all rounder is required with a practical ‘hands-on’ approach, used to working in a production environment.

The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, and would be responsible for the development and continued updates of electronic / electrical hardware and software design. Mechanical knowledge would also be an advantage. The following skills would be required:

·Experience in embedded systems development (ANSI-C/C++ and Assembler).

·Solid background in the design of micro-controller based hardware and design/testing for EMC. Using Keil Compiler for 8-bit and 16-bit CPUs (PIC/C51/C167/PK51/PK166) & Phyton PICE-51 Emulator. EMP21 - EPROM & PIC programming.

·GUI development with Microsoft Visual Studio Professional / RTOS programming

·Circuit Schematic and PCB designs using EasyPC for Windows & Vutrax.

·Design skills in Analogue, Digital, Power electronics and Signal conditioning sensors to micro-controller based systems.

·IT mainframe & Server maintenance – VPN, LAN, TCP/IP networking, Serial Communication with RS232/ USB, MS Windows, Linux (basic), MS Office, SPICE Simulator.

·PLC programming (Omron / Mitsubishi / SIEMENS).

·EMC and Safety pre-compliance testing.

·On-site installation and repairs (some overseas).
