Job Description: Employability/Sector Skilled Trainer
Hours: 9am – 5.30pm – Extra hours are required to fulfil job role
Days: Monday - Friday
Employability/Sector Skilled trainers are required to work with and provide employability support and training to unemployed clients to enable them to obtain and sustain employment and ensuring that contractual targets are achieved. They are also responsible for meeting contractual monthly targets and KPI’s set by line managers
Main Duties will include:
1.To produce a workable CV for all candidates to assist with successful entry to employment – CV’s to be uploaded on to our website.
2.To work closely with the recruitment team ensuring contract monthly targets are met.
3.Delivering employability and sector skilled training to the company standards (i.e. Job search skills, Interview skills/role play as well as sector training sessions)
4.Providing clients with a diverse range of job search methods, techniques, support and coaching
5.To deliver the programme to the course outline and structure determined by differentiating and adapting the programme where appropriate in a sensitive manner according to the needs of the group.
6.Assessing candidate needs, developing an individual Action Plan
7.Monitoring, assessing and reviewing progress with clients.
8.To oversee the administration process, to ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately, and submitted to the Administration Dept.
9.To submit a weekly report on individual candidates progress to include attendance and results of any interviews attended.
To track all students’ job progress once they leave the programme.
