As a leading independent training provider, our client is an
expert in creating career prospects for young people. Offering a range of
qualifications, top quality training and excellent support, they’ve already
helped thousands of people. An opportunity has now arisen for an Employment
Engagement Officer / Employment Development Officer to join their team.
For this role our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic sales
person to source new employers and develop relationships with existing employers
in order to expand apprenticeship offers and training and development of their
own staff.
Specifically, as an Employment Engagement Officer /
Employment Development Officer, your role will involve making employers aware of
the full range of our client’s products in terms of occupational areas, funding
and commercial courses.
Your duties will include:
- Establishing
and maintaining an employer network in order to promote all products and
services
- Maintaining regular contact with employers – face to face visits,
telephone, meetings
- Assisting on open days, schools evenings etc

Liaising with key workers, sector managers and trainers/assessors

Producing and delivering business development presentations and marketing
materials
- Telesales
To be considered for this position you must
have proven sales experience. Sales experience from, or a background in the
education or training sector would be beneficial to your application.
As
an Employment Engagement Officer / Employment Development Officer, you should
also be a good communicator with the ability to develop effective relationships.
The ability to work as part of a team, a driving licence, your own transport,
and strong presentation skills are also essential.
