Working on behalf of a leading energy advisory service, my client assists companies in reducing their energy needs and their environmental impacts. They are looking for an Energy/ Environmental Auditor to join their team. The auditing service my client offers their customers includes, delivering fully funded Carbon Trust audits to qualifying companies to help identify waste energy streams, assisting with the implementation of recommendations to ensure results are seen from investments, providing funded assistance to help businesses identify their Carbon Footprintand on site auditing to identify areas of waste energy, waste gas, and waste water.
The role of Energy Auditor will involve working with both existing and new clients covering the public and private sector. This person will visit clients and working with the management team look at the companies energy usage and efficiency and develop long term bespoke carbon reduction programmes. This is very much a hands on role involving extensive travel to cover the client sites.
Candidates will need to be at Incorporated Mechanical Engineer status, with a background in energy management and carbon reduction, ideally they will be Carbon Trust accredited. Preferably candidates will have done a similar consultancy role before. This role is office based and will require travel in the UK.
