Engineering Mechanical Fitter - Huntingdon
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineering Fitter to join their team in Huntingdon. This position is working a 12 hour continental shift pattern, 4 on then 4 off. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance working from schedules, diagnosing and repairing faults, attending machine breakdowns to minimise downtime, maintaining machinery, installing/modifying equipment and much more. You will want to take an active role in continuous improvement projects and undertake training where necessary. You will need to have a formal engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship, have hands on engineering experience and be computer literate.
