Technical Engineering Project Manager - safety-critical systems - software / electronic design
Location - Wiltshire
Salary - £55k-£65k + Benefits
Project Manager - A world class engineering company, whose parent company have committed substantial resource to their Research and Development Department , currently seek a Technical Project Manager to oversee Software and Hardware Development programmes using a mix of internal and external resources.
Location - Wiltshire , Bath , Somerset , Bristol
Project Manager Key Responsibilities :
•Responsible for overall technical content of the work package.
•Liaising between the relevant Product Line Manager and Technical Authority) to ensure that developments are in-line with company Technology Plan.
• Take overall responsibility for achieving timely delivery for technical work packages while meeting defined quality guidelines and managing risks.
•Ensuring Product delivery will be accomplished inline with the approved Development Process.
•Ensuring budget and performance criteria are met
Project Manager Qualifications and Experience :
- Management of safety-critical development projects in aerospace , defence , rail , medical devices , nuclear etc... (this is essential)
- Degree qualified in engineering or a technical subject.
- Engineering background - ideally electronic or software engineering degree and commercial experience of managing technical development projects , leading software / hardware engineers.
- Commercial Management knowledge within high value , capital development projects
