The Public Sector Consulting Practice is looking to recruit at the Consultant level (Individuals with generally 4-8 years consulting or industry experience) and the Senior Consultant level (Individuals with generally 7+ years of consulting or industry experience) with a proven track record in the area of Enterprise Content Management.Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is the strategies, methods and tools used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver content and documents related to an organisation's processes. ECM tools and strategies allow the management of an organisation's unstructured information, wherever that information exists. PwC has a specific need for Consultants with experience designing and implementing ECM solutions to assist its Government client's as a trusted, objective advisor by defining requirements, specifying, procuring and implementing ECM solutions.For this role PwC is only able to consider British nationals. Developed Vetting clearance is a requirement for this role.
Requirements
A successful candidate will have experience in all of the following areas: Managing enterprise collaboration services to support organisational effectiveness - enabling internal users and external partners to share files, folders, calendars, and network resources; Creation of taxonomies, templates and data models for efficient management of information; Experience working with document management, content management and business process management systems; Knowledge of either Documentum and/or Open Text ECM Suite.In addition to the above, a successful Consultant applicant will have experience in at least two of the areas detailed below. A successful Senior Consultant applicant will have experience in all of the areas outlined below: Experience translating strategic requirements into a usable Enterprise Content Management solution, which may include an enterprise data model, associated meta model, common business vocabulary and taxonomies which will then be used to guide solution architectures and achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio. Experience of deploying ECM solutions into existing business services, capturing Business Requirements and interpreting these into requirements for ECM solutions and ensuring that these solutions fit into existing organisation workflows. Experience of deploying ECM solutions into existing IT infrastructures, integrating ECM with other IT assets. This will include experience of Enterprise Application Integration within an ECM context. Knowledge of Enterprise search tools and searching strategies. The ability to map ECM requirements to software packages, to determine impact or assess suitability of vendor solutions to information architecture requirements. Experience linking Security requirements to ECM solutions, ensuring appropriate access controls.It goes without saying that the successful candidate will have to have demonstrated the following: Ability to advise and interact with all levels of client management and staff; Excellent business analysis and design skills; Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills; Ability to support the selling of IT consulting work; Experience of maintaining a client relationship; To have been involved in a sales role and have undertaken proposal work.
