Environmental Test Technician
Salary up to £30K
18 months contract
Location – Farnborough, Hampshire
Our client is looking for Environmental Test Technician- Verification of Product Design and Manufacturing Capability through Vibration and Thermal Testing.
Environmental Test Technician - Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the set up and running of Vibration Tests – using the laboratories range of shakers
Support the set up and running of Thermal Tests – using the laboratories range of Climatic Chambers and Thermal Test Rigs
Assist with calibration of temperature and vibration transducers & products
Help with the report of tests performed – Working with MS Word and Excel
Support the day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory equipment – including shakers, chambers, transducers and other test equipment
Arranging calibration of test equipment with external test houses
Environmental Test Technician Skills/Experience
Minimum ONC qualification or equivalent
Hands-on experience of using basic laboratory equipment – Mechanical and electrical measurement
Experience of working to British, European or International test standards would be advantageous
