We have an opportunity for a candidate with some exposure to Equity Settlements/Back office operations. Our client is a well established Broking and trading organisation based in London. Working a friendly and supportive team environment you will have the following responsibilities:
Liaise on a daily basis with our custodians to reconcile transactions/settlements against holdings, and if necessary take corrective measures
Liaise on a daily basis with our settlement agents, and/or intermediate brokers
Liaise with custodians and/or other stock lenders in repo requirements to cover short positions.
Liaise with customers on an "as need" basis to deal with trade and settlement queries
Post trades into our back office system
Post custody assets into the back office system
Process and translate corporate actions (dividends etc.) into customer's accounts
Process and translate withholding tax implications for customers
Process the treatment of custody assets as collateral when used by the firm
