Estimating Engineer

Overview
Our client have a requirement for an Estimating Engineer, to work within the Engineering Team to support the ongoing sales activity and business growth strategy.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in or come from a background in metal profile cutting, folding, presswork, assembly and welding.

Our client manufactures precision sheet metal fabrications in exotic materials for the aerospace industry.

Role
Estimating Engineer who will be responsible for specifying material requirements, defining suitable methods of manufacture and identifying all necessary tooling and equipment. They will have responsibility for compilation of detailed cost estimates including raw material, labour content, purchased items and subcontract services.

Experience Required
Suitably Experienced and Qualified Estimator / Estimating Engineer
Past Experience of estimating software systems would be an advantage
Good IT literacy and familiarity with CAD are needed
