ESTIMATOR / SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Location - London
Salary - Negotiable dependant on experience
Role
An experienced Estimator is required to work on various Rail projects in the London Area
The successful Estimator will have primary focus on:
" Providing accurate cost estimates and supporting technical information,
" Prepare enquiry schedules and liaise with the Buying Department for the selection of appropriate companies,
" Produce Bills of Quantities from plans and specifications,
" Attend tender settlement meetings
" Produce contractor's proposal Documentation.
The suitable Estimator will have experience within the Rail Construction and Civil Engineering Sector, producing estimates on schemes valued between £5 and £35 million.
Typical projects will include:
" P-Way
" New Build roads,
" Bridge work (new build, regeneration, refurbishment)
" Ground works
" Rail Civils.
" Bulk Earth works
" Water projects / Drainage / Utilities
Requirements
Alongside the experience as stated above, the suitable Estimator will have the relevant Civil Engineering qualifications to support their experience be a HNC, HND or related degree.
