Connaught is the UK’s leading integrated services provider. We are currently recruiting for an Estimator skilled in responsive and repair works to be part of the Estimating Team. These are exciting times for Connaught as we are experiencing a sustained phase of growth and development underpinned by strong financial performance. The successful applicant will play a key role in paving the way for our continued success.

The key responsibilities for the Estimator will include:

• Producing timely and accurate tenders/bids/budget proposals with a specialism in responsive repair costs
• Attending project handover meetings to assist in the presentation of the finalised bid to the project team
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive/accurate quotations for specialist elements of the work
• Preparation of estimating reports highlighting opportunity and risk to allow reasoned bid settlement by the Regional and Area Directors

The successful Estimator will have:

• Significant experience within an Estimating, Commercial or Quantity Surveying environment
• Experience and be proficient in the use of specialist estimating software
• HNC or equivalent in a building related subject preferred, but demonstrated delivery and experience may be taken in lieu if appropriate
• MS Office skills and good mathematical ability
