ESTIMATOR - BRIGHTON - £35K-£50K + PACKAGE
My client has been established for over 75 years in the civil engineering sector; including projects such as marine, infrastructure and groundworks/drainage.
With their company values setting the standards for their business outlook, this has shone through in their approach to clients and gained them repeat business across the market.
Due to business expansion, my client is looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join their business working within a team of 4, including the estimating manager.
You MUST have experience in civil engineering and ideally marine works with a construction related qualification.
My client is looking for someone that has shown stability in their career and worked up through the ranks. They are willing to consider anyone from around 4 years experience upwards.
The role will involve:
1). The co-ordination of tender bid & pre-contract activities, preparation of sound and competitive estimates, and the presentation of bids to the construction team.
2). Examples of key tasks may include checking tender documents, arranging pricing document production, answering queries from subcontractors and suppliers, arranging site visits, attending pre-contract Design Team meetings, and identifying project risks.
You must have experience in at least one of the following form of contracts: JCT, NEC and ICE.
Candidates on day release will not be considered.
