A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a large multi-national distribution company as an Import / Export Supervisor for the companies European Groupage / Part Loads and Full Loads division. The role will be based at Dunstable and will involve the supervision of 5 members of staff of which 4 work on European Exports and 1 works on European Imports.
You will be responsible for for all import and export activities for the day to day running of the European Export/Import department aswell as working closely with the sales team. You will need to ensure that all correct import and export processes are followed and all operational reports are completed and issued to the relevant parties. You will also need to ensure that all rates are correct and billed accurately to the customer, whilst keeping the customer database updated with information.
To apply for the role you will to have had experience working within the European Road Freight industry, preferably in a Senior Clerk or Supervisory capacity. You will also need to be IT Literate, have good planning and organisational skills . good written, numeracy and verbal communications and ideally have SOI knowledge.
