Market share, top line and bottom line growth are a requirement of the job and estimated sales for the region will be around $25-50M. This position hires, trains and supports direct sales, independent agents, trading companies, and distributors. It is essential that the strategic plan for Europe is enhanced and key facets of this will revolve around improved customer engagement, education of cultural sensitivities, development of project and bid strategies in addition to appropriate use of the international sales budget.
The required individual must be capable of motivating, inspiring, leading, and developing strategies with sales personnel. The person in this position must have strong selling and negotiating skills. International cultural sensitivities must be well understood and this person must balance between those sensitivities and the company culture. The successful candidate will be a current Sales Director with a demonstrable track record of sales leadership and hands-on delivery within a multinational engineered products or manufacturing organisation. Ideally you will have led the delivery of a robust sales plan in a large matrix organisation. Some knowledge of the casting/foundry industry is essential for this position.
