Major international media group seeks experienced Event Director to take ownership of large scale event for the energy sector. As Event Director you will have full P&L responsibility for the event, from creating its vision through to developing budgets, sales strategies, business plans and critical paths and seeing the event through to fruition. The event is seen as a market leader in its field and attracts a large number of senior level executives and world class sponsors. Candidates need to have a track record of delivering results in a target-driven environment and have run either large scale conferences or business exhibitions. You will also need to have a natural ability to network with senior level management and industry leaders, be highly organised and be able to thrive under pressure. NB the role is based in Canada and will also require international travel and flexible hours.
