Job Description: As the Events Co-ordinator, you will support the Marketing Director in organising client conferences, exhibitions and trade show presence for the company and ensuring the smooth running of all events.You will also be responsible for the administration of the communication process to key clients and prospects throughout the life cycle of an event.

Key Responsibilities:

·Research conferences and events that promote the company’s product and services to appropriate industries

·Investigate exhibition and sponsorship opportunities and costs with event organisers

·Coordinate supporting materials and resources to support and compliment events including sales collateral, direct mail, web site promotion and other advertising

·Work with Sales and Marketing teams to identify key contacts for pre and post event contact and follow up

·Arrange for transportation, accommodation and site resources for events

·Provide onsite support at events as required

·Provide general support for the Marketing function

Skills:

·Experience in events/conference field essential

·Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously,

·Possess excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills

·Copy writing skills and attention to detail 

·Happy to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team 

·Fully IT literate, including Microsoft Office, database query and Internet
