My client, a growing business centre are seeking an Events/Facilities Co-ordinator.
East Manchester. Salary £15,500 - £17,000
This growing establishment provides conference an events facilities for both small, medium and large businesses. Working in a small but friendly team, you will be responsible for:
Booking conference rooms
Liaising with suppliers
Taking initial enquires and checking availability
Meeting and greeting clients
Setting up conference rooms including the set up of equipment
Booking catering
Being on hand during the events and providing any assistance needed
Helping to implement a marketing plan
Networking at events to promote the company
Negotiating on rent, rates and room hire
Liaising with the facilities management team
Following up any enquiries
General administration duties
This is a fast pace role that requires excellent communication skills. To apply you must have some previous events co-ordination experience, you must be hard working with a 'can do' attitude. You must be flexible with your time as there will be some evening and weekend work with time off in lieu.
