Experienced Account Manager/ Account Director
My client is a well
established and market leading IT supplier across the UK and the UAE. They are
currently looking for Experienced Account Managers/ Account Directors , who are
experienced IT sales professionals.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The primary focus of
the role is to generate new business and to develop existing accounts, by
identifying and closing good business for my client’s portfolio of supply,
infrastructure solutions , support and managed services.
These services will include:
Infrastructure
& Application Solutions incl. Professional Services
Remote Management
Solutions,
Break-fix and other maintenance services
Networking (WAN/LAN)
Managed Services
and/or outsourcing contracts
To develop and
manage a solution-led approach which facilitates account profitability.
To provide regular
reporting and update of account activity and ensure delivery of service to the
satisfaction of the client.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
Candidates educated
to A-level/GCSE or equivalent will be considered.
Experience and Skills
Understanding of key
business issues and a track record in
overcoming these issues utilising products, services and knowledge
Qualification
techniques and processes
Understanding of
Business operations
Effective and
successful negotiation skills
Presentation and
communication skills
Effective planning
and organising experience
Experience in
leading virtual teams to deliver successful projects on time whilst meeting and
exceeding customers’ expectations
PC literate

Essential
Proven, successful
and sustained sales track record with a similar company selling IT
infrastructure, Managed Service products and solutions
Knowledge and
experience of designing, developing, selling and delivering complex technology
solutions across Infrastructure and Application Solutions incl. Professional
Services
Remote Management
Solutions, Break-fix and other maintenance services
Networking (WAN/LAN)
Managed Hosting
Services and/or outsourcing contracts
Absolute
understanding of the sales cycle/process
Success in managing
high level commercial relationships
Detailed
understanding of one or more of the following:

Basic salary £32K-
40K + benefits + Uncapped commission - OTE £137K+
