Role & ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibility will be to deliver projects but you will also be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our frameworks and processes and there will be opportunity to research the adoption of technology, in order to ensure we use the most efficient and appropriate tools for each project.
You will be self motivated and disciplined in order to organise your workload and act autonomously as required.You will also be a great communicator who has a proven track record in .NET Web Development, delivering quality software that meets customer requirements in agreed and achievable timescales.
Your attention to detail will set you apart from other developers who may not strive for the same standards you set yourself and you will pride yourself on your analytical skills which derive from fine listening skills and a questioning mind.
SkillsTo produce high quality websites and applications to specific design requirements, you will have demonstrable experience of:
·WC3 Standards for XHTML and CSS compliance
·Interest and an awareness of web best practice and emerging standards and technologies
·the subtleties of Web Browser compatibility
·AJAX with JQuery
·using C#.NET or VB.NET to develop reliable, scalable web applications and e-commerce stores
·Excellent English language skills
·Programmer level SQL Server 2005+ would be an advantage.
·XML and Serialisation technologies
Package / Benefits£30-40k OTE with 20 days holiday, initially working from home with the likelihood of office premises being set up between Swindon and Cheltenham over the next year or so our working hours are currently a 40 hour week with no commute!
